All the athletic skill and work ethic in the world won’t get an athlete an Olympic medal. It’s support – provided by coaches, trainers, friends and family, and community – that allows an athlete to push beyond the mediocre and reach the upper levels of sport. David is eternally thankful for all the people who over the years have helped him to where he is now.
David would like to have another opportunity to win an Olympic Gold Medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, GBR.  It will take a lot of hard work and support to get there.

If you or an organization you are involved in would like to get behind David and his bid to win an Olympic Gold Medal, please contact him right away!  David is currently spending full time hours building a strong career in the BC Public Service. Although he is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead of him in his public service career, he will have to shift his priorities soon to focus on rowing, so that he can win an Olympic Gold Medal.
