That's awesome! She clearly picks up on your love of rowing and is curious herself. I recall when I took the Level 1 Theory coaching course a few years back that they have info there about how much/what kind of workout is good for kids at different ages. If you ever get worried about what the right kind of workout is, you can probably check that out. (Don't remember anymore, and don't have my book, but I'm sure you can get your hands on it).

I was thinking today how my son Simon will describe his childhood vacations... will many of his big travel experiences somehow tie into Mommy's big regattas? Will he become active in sport because he sees me doing it? What a legacy we create for our children through our love of sport!

Hey Krista,

What kind of training did you do with your dad? Was he a rower? Should I know this? I tried a quick google search and didn't find him yet.

I feel guilty that Mira loves the erg so much, so I am sticking to a short warm-up and a 500M piece. She is so cute! Luckily she also loves dance and swimming and soccer and gymnastics and art and music and reading!
